Long before Season 3, Roberto and Kristy eloped — married in secret, without Nancy in the room. Kristy was already pregnant, and Nancy never forgave either fact. She read the elopement as Kristy stealing her son away, and, according to reports, vowed to end the marriage she had not been invited to bless.
A Phone Full of Photos, and One Daughter Who Did Not Look Right
The reason arrived in the Season 3 premiere in June 2022. Roberto pulled out his phone to show his mother pictures of his two little girls. Nancy studied them and delivered her verdict: the older girl was the spitting image of Roberto, but the younger one, Kimi, looked nothing like him. Nancy reportedly asked why the result could not be 100 percent, then questioned whether the test was even authentic. The woman who had demanded proof now refused to believe the proof she got.
