The birthday cake never got its moment. Tammy Slaton celebrated her 40th birthday at Ellis Park in Tuesday’s episode of 1000-LB Sisters — and by the end of the same hour, her fiancée Andrea Dalton had fainted from a seizure and was on her way to the emergency room. One week later, the Season 9 finale has to answer what that night started.
The Birthday That Ended in the Emergency Room

Episode 10, “Sorry (Not) Sorry,” aired Tuesday, November 3. Back from Nashville, Tammy faced her siblings after weeks of fighting, while brother Chris Combs spoke up for Andrea — then stormed out. Then the night turned: Andrea fainted from a seizure and was taken to the ER, leaving Tammy scrambling at the very party meant to celebrate her.
The scare did not come out of nowhere. A week earlier, in Episode 9, Andrea revealed that the seizures she has lived with all her life have been getting worse. According to reports, the couple are in therapy over trust issues. All of it lands on top of her six-year road to December 12, the date Tammy revealed herself in September: “December 12, ’26. We’re thinking, like, ice princess.”
Amy Wrote the Song During a Fight With Tammy

While Tammy’s week fell apart, Amy’s was building to the biggest night of her life. “Pounds Hollow” began as a poem Amy wrote during a fight with Tammy, “hoping that one day that everything would be all right.” She turned it into a country-rap track with AI, and Chris fired back: “If you use AI to do anything, you didn’t do it.” Amy’s answer was pure Amy: “But I did tho…”
In a Nashville studio, Tammy joined Amy in the booth after she lost her voice. The 2:41 single dropped on September 18, and on October 27 Amy sang it at an open mic in a Nashville bar. That night in Nashville, Amy drew her own line — her moment, no Tammy on the microphone — and fans heard it as a boundary, not a betrayal.
Tears at the Watch Party
Entertainment Tonight’s exclusive first look at the finale shows Amy hosting a watch party for the “Pounds Hollow” video, beaming with pride as it plays — and then breaking down in tears. Some in the room questioned whether she is really the one singing and rapping, and Amy heard every word. Fans are still split: some call her delusional, others praise her guts.

The finale is not only the sisters’ night. In Episode 9, Brittany’s pregnancy test came back negative — another month added to their 13-year wait for a baby, a wait the couple have carried through every season. Chris stood by Andrea at Tammy’s birthday, then walked out of the room, caught between two sisters once again.
Tuesday Night Decides December 12
The finale, “Down in Pounds Hollow,” airs Tuesday, November 10, at 9 p.m. ET on TLC. The synopsis packs the whole season into one night: Amy gets an update on her skin-removal surgery and hopes her siblings show up to her music video shoot. Tammy stands by Andrea as she faces a scary diagnosis. And later, Amy releases her song for the world to hear.
The wedding Tammy has planned — December 12, “ice princess,” Amy as maid of honor — is 32 days away. On Tuesday, Tammy fights to hold that date together while Andrea waits on answers no one has yet.
If Tuesday ends with Andrea still waiting on a diagnosis, should Tammy and Andrea keep December 12 no matter what — or is pushing the wedding back the bravest thing Tammy could do for the woman she plans to marry?
