The ring went on in August. The cameras had already stopped rolling. That one fact shapes everything about My Big Fat Fabulous Life Season 14, which premieres Tuesday, November 10 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on TLC — four days from now, in the hour right after the 1000-Lb Sisters Season 9 finale.

TLC is calling it a new era — “New city, new lover, new era.” Whitney Way Thore moved back to Charlotte, fell in love with Jake Beaudoin, and got engaged. Here is everything we know.

Tuesday, November 10 at 10 p.m. — Right After 1000-Lb Sisters

TLC has locked Season 14 into its usual Tuesday slot: November 10 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, directly following the 1000-Lb Sisters Season 9 finale at 9 p.m. Episodes will also stream on Discovery+ and Max.

The show premiered on January 13, 2015, making this its fourteenth season — and the fourth without Babs Thore, who died at home in Greensboro on December 7, 2022.

The Cast Walking Into Season 14

Whitney Way Thore remains the center of the show, walking in with a new city, a new fiancé, and her oldest dream: motherhood.

Jake Beaudoin is the season’s biggest new piece. The 41-year-old EDM producer known as Breauski reconnected with Whitney after her Charlotte move, went public with her on Instagram in the summer of 2026, and proposed that August. According to reports, he is also a single dad to a 12-year-old daughter.

Around them: Glenn Thore, now 80; Hunter Thore, Whitney’s younger brother; and the family and friends who grill Jake about his intentions in the trailer.

What the Trailer Already Gave Away

Whitney Way Thore in a confessional — the baby question is the one Season 14 cannot dodge.

The trailer opens on the Charlotte reset. Whitney says her life has been feeling “brand new” since the move, then gets straight to the point: “I still want a baby, that’s my main objective.” She confirms she is taking “a weight-loss medication,” explaining, “My doctor said it would be helpful for me in terms of getting pregnant.” She never named the drug.

Then the trailer’s most awkward moment: Whitney and Jake take a pregnancy test together, and she asks, point blank, “And I can’t use another man’s sperm to get pregnant?” He answers flatly: “Uh, I would prefer not.”

The family test runs through the rest of the footage. Whitney introduces Jake to her family and friends, who grill him about his intentions and whether he wants kids, while she dreads someone blurting out that she is trying to get pregnant. The clip ends with a proposal — and Whitney’s stunned reply: “I am completely not ready for this.”

Four Questions the Premiere Still Has to Answer

First, the pregnancy test. The trailer shows them taking one together — not the result.

Second, the baby question itself. Jake’s “I would prefer not” is clear about donor sperm — but does he want a child with Whitney at all, and on what terms?

Third, the wedding. The engagement is real — Whitney told People exclusively on August 18, “Jake has officially graduated from boyfriend to fiancé” — but no date or venue has been confirmed, and Season 14 was filmed before the proposal.

Fourth, where Glenn fits. At 80, in the fourth season without Babs, the man whose verdict matters most is kept mostly in the background of the trailer.

When Glenn looks Jake in the eye for the first time on camera, whose answer will matter more to you — the dad who watched every heartbreak that came before, or the fiancé who says he is all in?
