TLC, a New Network, or YouTube? Vote Where the Derricos’ Comeback Should Air

TLC, a New Network, or YouTube? Vote Where the Derricos’ Comeback Should Air

Deon Derrico says the cameras are rolling again. The Derrico family, he told fans in October 2026, is “filming right now” for a new season, with a premiere targeted for 2027, according to reports. But one question has gone unanswered through every update and every promise: where will we actually watch it?

No network is confirmed, no title announced, no date locked in. So while we wait for an official announcement, the fandom gets to settle the debate that matters most right now.

What We Actually Know About the Comeback

Let us stick to what is confirmed. Doubling Down With the Derricos ended on TLC after Season 5. Deon has talked about a return more than once: a new show teased in 2025, a possible 2026 release floated in spring 2026, and now the October 2026 claim that filming is underway, according to reports. Each time, the network, the title, and the date stayed missing.

The family itself has changed since the cameras last rolled. Deon and Karen divorced in June 2024, and the 14 kids have kept growing up. A comeback in 2027 would not be the same show fans left behind. The only real question is where it lands.

Option 1: Back Home on TLC

This is the nostalgic pick. TLC is where America met the Derricos: the matching outfits, the head counts, the grocery runs for 16, and GG’s one-liners. A return to TLC would mean the biggest built-in audience, the familiar channel, and the feeling that the family never really left.

But there is a catch. TLC already ended the show once, after five seasons. A network that walked away does not always walk back. Team TLC is betting on loyalty. Is that enough?

Option 2: A Brand-New Network

Reports have previously suggested the Derricos’ next chapter could move to another network, according to TV Season & Spoilers. A fresh network means a fresh start: new branding, a new timeslot, and a show built around who this family is now, not who they were six years ago.

The risk is reach. Fans would have to find the show all over again. But for a family that has outgrown its old format, a new home could be exactly what the comeback needs. Team New Network is betting on reinvention.

Option 3: YouTube — or Deon Goes It Alone

Then there is the wild card Deon himself has floated, according to reports: self-distributing. No network gatekeepers, no timeslot wars — the family puts the show out directly, possibly on YouTube. The upside is total control and instant access for the fandom that never stopped watching.

The downside is just as real. A show this big costs money to make, and without a network behind it, marketing falls entirely on the family. Team YouTube’s argument is simple: stop waiting for permission and just press record.

The Question Nobody Can Dodge: Where Does Karen Fit?

Here is the part every platform debate eventually hits. Fans are split on what the comeback should look like: a full-family return with both parents, or a Deon-led chapter built around the kids and GG. The platform choice could shape that answer — a network show may want the whole family, while a self-released show may follow whoever is holding the camera.

There is no confirmed answer here. What is certain is that the fandom does not agree — and that disagreement is exactly why this vote matters. So it is your turn: vote 1 for TLC, 2 for a brand-new network, or 3 for YouTube / self-released. And tell us the harder part too: should the comeback bring the whole family back on screen, or is it time for a new chapter led by Deon and the kids?
