Nashville was supposed to bring the Slaton sisters closer. Instead, it blew the family apart — and Tuesday’s 1000-LB Sisters Season 9, Episode 10, “Sorry (Not) Sorry” (November 3, 9pm ET on TLC), delivers the reckoning. This is not a recap but a fan ranking, based on what has aired through Episode 9 plus Tuesday’s official synopsis. Here is where all five siblings stand — weakest to strongest.
No. 5 — Tammy Slaton: The Queen With No Court

Tammy began Season 9 holding all the cards: 500-plus pounds down, a December 12 wedding to fiancée Andrea Dalton ahead, Amy as maid of honor. Then in Episode 8 she uninvited the older siblings — Amanda, Misty and Chris — from the Nashville trip, leaving them, per TLC’s synopsis, “reeling.” It backfired: Amy went anyway and stole her spotlight moment, while the older siblings drew “a line in the sand.” Tuesday, Tammy comes home to face them — just as, per the synopsis, Andrea suffers a medical emergency. No details are public. The timing alone puts Tammy last.
No. 4 — Chris Combs: The Peacemaker Who Picked a Fight

For nine seasons, Chris has been the family’s steady hand. In Episode 9, per a Season Sisters podcast recap (October 28), he confronted Amy over her role in the “vacation invitation debacle,” asking what her silence cost the family. Fair question, risky move: Tuesday’s synopsis promises “Chris gets a taste of his own medicine from Amanda and Misty,” his longtime allies. If he listens, he climbs this list fast. If he digs in, he falls further.
No. 3 — Misty Slaton: The Quiet Power
Misty rarely takes the loudest scene, and that is why she ranks this high. She did not cause the split, chase the spotlight, or waver: when the older siblings drew their line in the sand, Misty stood on it. She is also half the duo turning the tables on Chris Tuesday. Her only weakness: the season’s biggest moments happened around her.
No. 2 — Amy Slaton: The Bravest Night of Her Life — at a Cost
No Slaton had a bigger week than Amy. In Episode 9 she took a Nashville stage for her first performance, the payoff of a season-long dream built on “Pounds Hollow” — written with AI help from her poetry, a choice Nashville veteran Clay Myers openly questioned. She also drew a firm line: her moment, no Tammy on the mic. It took guts — and it cost her. Tammy’s confessional, “Amy gets everything and Tammy gets nothing,” split the fandom in half. Amy has momentum and husband Brian Lovvorn in her corner. Peace with either side, she does not have.
No. 1 — Amanda Halterman: The Sister Nobody Crosses Twice
Amanda is the only sibling ending the Nashville arc stronger than she started it. In Episode 4 she called out the family’s broken communication, pointing straight at Tammy. When Amy got initial approval for long-chased skin-removal surgery, Amanda pushed her to quit smoking now — not Monday, now. Then came the line in the sand, Amanda and Misty together. Now Tuesday hands her the mic as she and Misty give Chris “a taste of his own medicine.” Amanda has fought her own battles — knee surgery, plateaus, and, according to reports, POTS — and became a grandmother in May 2025, proudly “Lolly.” In a family of talkers, Amanda is the one everybody hears.
