Nine days. That is all that stands between My Big Fat Fabulous Life fans and the Season 14 premiere on Tuesday, November 10 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on TLC. And if the fan groups are any guide, the fandom is not counting down quietly. The posts lighting up this week all say the same thing in different words: a photo of Whitney Way Thore and fiancé Jake Beaudoin, smiling side by side, with one demand attached. Say yes if you want us back.

So here it is. Drop a YES if you want Season 14. Then keep reading, because this countdown is about more than a date. It is about what fans actually want from the new season.

Why This Countdown Feels Different

Fourteen seasons is a lifetime in reality television. Whitney has danced, broken down, and reinvented herself on camera since 2015, and every return used to feel routine. This one does not. The last year brought a genuine scare for the fandom, a move back to Charlotte, North Carolina, and a love story that went from secret to engaged in months. Season 14 is the payoff for a year fans spent wondering whether the show they love still had a next chapter.

In the trailer, Whitney says her life has been feeling “brand new” since moving back to Charlotte. That is the word to hold on to. Not a comeback. Not a reset. Brand new. Fans are counting down because they want to see what brand new actually looks like when the cameras stop teasing it and start showing it.

What Fans Want Most From Season 14

Ask the groups what they are watching for and the same four wishes come up again and again. First, dance back at the center. Dance is where Whitney started, and fans want the new season to remember that instead of treating it as a side hobby.

Second, honesty about the baby journey. In the trailer, Whitney is blunt: “I still want a baby, that’s my main objective.” She says she is taking a weight-loss medication on her doctor’s advice to help her get pregnant, and the trailer ends with a pregnancy test that leaves her in tears. Fans do not want that storyline sanded down.

Third, the family test. The trailer shows Whitney introducing Jake to her family and friends, and they waste no time grilling him about his intentions and whether he wants kids. That scene is the season in miniature.

Fourth, the wedding question. Whitney went from hard launch to engaged in about three months, and fans want to know whether the wedding itself becomes part of the show — or whether some moments stay private this time.

Whitney and Jake: The Couple at the Center of It

The speed of this love story is half the fascination. Whitney debuted her relationship with Jake Beaudoin on Instagram on August 15, posing with their arms around each other on a scenic overlook along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Three days later, she told People exclusively that she was engaged. “Jake has officially graduated from boyfriend to fiancé,” she said. “We’re getting married, and we couldn’t be happier.” She said she was “completely surprised” by the proposal, which made the moment even more special.

The trailer is honest that it has not all been smooth. Whitney calls the relationship “complicated,” admits things get rocky, and says there is “no turning back” as the couple takes a pregnancy test together. When she asks Jake whether she can use another man’s sperm to get pregnant, he answers plainly: “Uh, I would prefer not.” The clip ends with a proposal and Whitney’s stunned reply: “I am completely not ready for this.”

That tension is exactly why fans are invested. This is not a fairy-tale edit. It is a 42-year-old woman with polycystic ovary syndrome and a public fertility journey that began with a sperm donor search in Season 13, building a future in real time with a fiancé she met months ago.

Drop a YES — And Tell Us What You Are Watching For

So this is the count. Drop a YES if you want Season 14 back on November 10. Then tell us the rest: which one are you watching for first? The dance comeback, the baby journey, the wedding question, or Jake facing the family grilling? Pick your reason and defend it. Nine days to go. Make them count.
