The 90 Day Bad Boys are officially no more. Jamal Menzies has confirmed that his friendship with Rob Warne is over, and in the same breath he pushed back on the simplest explanation fans have been repeating for weeks: this is not all about Emma Perry.

That twist is why this story exploded overnight. Jamal is now saying the break runs deeper, built up over time, and that he and Rob simply see the world differently. Rob has not publicly responded, which only leaves fans more divided.

The Confirmation Fans Were Waiting For

According to TV Season & Spoilers, reporting on October 31, 2026, Jamal has said his friendship with Rob is over, while indicating that Emma is not the entire reason for the break. The report frames the split as a wider trust problem between the former friends, not just fallout from one shared love interest.

In an Instagram Q&A covered by The Ashley’s Reality Roundup on October 21, Jamal told fans there was “a lot more to the story” and that he and Rob had built-up differences: “Me and Rob are very different as people and we just don’t see things the same.” He also insisted he does not plan to bash Rob.

Rob and Jamal became friends through mutual friend Josh Weinstein, after Josh met Rob on The Last Resort Season 2. Josh, who is close to Jamal’s mother Kim Menzies, introduced the two men, and the trio became known as the 90 Day Bad Boys.

The first public crack appeared back in May, when Jamal posted — then deleted — a reel announcing he was stepping away from the Bad Boys. Josh publicly supported him. Rob, notably, stayed silent, and fans have been reading into that silence ever since. Jamal has since drawn a clear line: he and Josh are still friends, Josh and Rob are still friends, but he and Rob are not.

Where Emma Fits — and Where She Does Not

Emma’s role is real, but it is only part of the picture. On camera, she revealed that she dated Rob before hooking up with Jamal two days before the Puerto Rico retreat began. She also said Rob insulted her after learning about the encounter with Jamal, and that both men were responsible for the situation.

Off camera, the story looks softer. TV Insider reported on October 20 that Emma and Jamal have posted behind-the-scenes content together, that Emma called Jamal “The One,” and that fans spotted the pair together in San Diego as recently as October 18.

What Happens Next on Hunt for Love

The next episodes will test whether this friendship can survive as a storyline even if it cannot survive in real life. Jamal and Emma’s clash with the group is already teased for the November 2 episode, “The Boy Who Cried Love.” Until Rob tells his side, fans only have half the story — and half a story is exactly what fuels a fandom argument.

So here is the question that will split the group today: do you believe Jamal when he says this breakup is bigger than Emma, or was Emma the breaking point and everything else is just the excuse? Team Jamal says friendships can outgrow each other without a villain. Team Rob says you do not walk away from a friend over a woman and then pretend she had nothing to do with it. Pick a side — and tell us why.
