The Derricos: A Unique but Deeply Positive Portrait of the American Family
Reality TV favorite Deon Derrico, best known as the patriarch from TLC’s Doubling Down With the Derricos, has officially revealed he’s working on a brand-new television project — but this time, it’s not with TLC.
The news comes as a surprise to fans who have followed the Derrico family’s journey through multiple seasons of their hit show, which chronicled Deon and his wife Karen Derrico raising their 14 children in Las Vegas. While details about the new project remain under wraps, Deon teased that it will be “something totally different” and will give audiences “a deeper look into life, faith, and family from a new perspective.”
In a recent social media post, Deon hinted that the upcoming show will air on a different network, marking a new chapter in his TV career. Fans have already begun speculating whether Karen and the kids will appear alongside him or if the series will focus on Deon’s solo ventures and personal growth.
The Derrico family has long been a fan favorite for their positivity, humor, and strong family values amid the chaos of raising multiples — including twins, triplets, and quadruplets. With this new show, Deon seems ready to take that same energy into a new creative direction, one that could expand beyond the family dynamic viewers are used to seeing.
More details, including the network name and release date, are expected to be announced soon — but one thing’s for sure: Deon Derrico isn’t done sharing his story, and fans are eager to see what’s next.
