When Doubling Down With the Derricos first aired in 2020, Darian Derrico was a 15-year-old big sister helping wrangle a house full of little kids. Now she is 20, an adult, and, according to TV Season & Spoilers, she has already moved out of her parents’ house. The girl who started it all has flown the nest — and fans are asking: who leaves home next?
Darian Already Did It: 20, Moved Out, Chasing Music

Darian, born in 2005, was the only Derrico child already an adult when Deon and Karen Derrico divorced in June 2024. Season 5 viewers watched the clash that defined her late teens: Karen pushed college, Darian pushed back. As Parade reported from a June 2024 episode, Darian told her mother she did not want to choose a future because she felt pressured or pushed — she wanted to decide for herself.
According to reports, Darian did not get into her dream college, and her parents eventually agreed to give her space. She got her driver’s license in September 2024 and kept posting singing videos online, asking followers to tag artists and brands to help her land her first break. In December 2025, Karen marked her 20th birthday with the caption, “Look who turned 20 today! The person who started it all!”
The Next Wave: Derrick, Dallas and Denver Are Teenagers Now

Right behind Darian comes the middle crew, and they are no longer little kids. Derrick, born in 2010, is now 16 — the calm, tech-loving, basketball-playing big brother. Twins Dallas and Denver, born a year later, are 15, the charismatic double act fans have watched since they were toddlers.
Deon has shown off this crew’s life skills on social media, including a much-loved Thanksgiving post of the boys helping cook the holiday meal. In a house of 14, the big kids have always helped raise the little ones — but Derrick is now old enough to drive, work and make his own plans, and the twins are right behind him.
But Darian needed a televised argument just to get space over college — so fans wonder whether Deon and Karen, now co-parenting from separate homes, will even agree when the boys’ first independence fights come.

And then there is the wave nobody is ready for. Deniko, Dariz, Deonee, Daician and Daiten, the quintuplets born in September 2013, are now 13. The five babies the show was built around are teenagers — five at once.
Soon it will be nine teenagers and young adults across various roofs, each wanting a phone, a job and a say. Fans already have favorites: Deniko as the pack leader, Deonee as the mini-Karen with the sassy catwalk strut.
Freedom vs Structure: The Fight Fans Cannot Settle
Underneath every Derrico milestone is the same parenting split. Deon’s house has always run on structure: everybody works, nobody watches, chores before fun. Karen’s instinct, shown in the Darian college storyline, is to push hard for the future she wishes someone had pushed for her.
Darian’s story suggests the truth is messier than either side admits: the pushing caused a fight, but the space that followed is what let her grow. Now, according to reports, 12 of the 14 kids live with Deon while Karen substitute-teaches and Deon drives a school bus. Two homes, two sets of rules, and a teenager count that keeps climbing.
So here is the question for the next Derrico chapter: when Derrick, Dallas or Denver says they want out — a job, a move, a life of their own — will Deon and Karen give them Darian’s freedom, or will the house rules win again? Are you Team Let Them Fly, or Team Keep Them Close?
