At 6:30 in the morning, after a sleepless night, Amanda Conner turned her camera on and cried. “I worked seven days a week to provide for my family. Come home, cook dinner, laundry. Whole time I was being cheated on.” Within hours, the clip was tearing through the Unexpected group — 81 comments and counting — with fans rallying around Amanda and demanding answers about her husband Ryan Edwards.

Then, 24 hours later, Amanda took it all back. The group went from united sympathy to a full-blown argument overnight, and both halves of that argument are still going.

One thing needs to be said plainly first: the cheating claim here is Amanda Conner’s allegation, as she stated it on October 25 — and her own correction the next day says it did not happen. No credible outlet has independently confirmed that Ryan Edwards cheated on her.

The 6:30 a.m. Video

On October 25, Amanda posted a tearful video in which she said she had been cheated on. According to Parade’s report that same day, she did not name Ryan Edwards in that first clip — but to her followers, the meaning was clear. Filming at 6:30 in the morning, she said she had not slept and was not due at work until 9, and that she had been working seven days a week to provide for her family, then coming home to make dinner and do laundry, all while, she claimed, she was being betrayed.

“I’m so hurt,” she said repeatedly. She also suggested it was not the first time — that it had happened a few times before, at least from what she had caught. She told viewers she did not have anyone else to talk to.

The context made it land harder. Amanda and Ryan met in rehab in 2023 and married in September 2025, just weeks after Ryan finalized his divorce from ex-wife Mackenzie Standifer. They share a toddler daughter, Presley. Their year had already been turbulent: in May, both called police on each other within days — claims Amanda later publicly denied.

The Walk-Back 24 Hours Later

On Monday, October 26, Amanda posted a second video that changed the story completely. She told fans she had acted too fast: someone, she said, has been giving out Ryan’s number and posting it on an escort website, and women have been calling and texting his phone and sending pictures. After seeing those messages, she said, she “flipped out” and went to the internet before she had the full picture.

Her retraction, as reported by CheatSheet, was unambiguous: “Ryan did not physically step out on our marriage,” she said, adding that he did not emotionally cheat or cheat through text messages either. “I should have never came to the internet with it,” she said. “Ryan is not a bad person.” CheatSheet also noted an earlier Reddit post sharing a screenshot of a dating profile featuring Ryan’s photo under a different name — unconfirmed chatter, with no clear link to Amanda’s video.

So to be precise: the cheating claim was Amanda’s public accusation on October 25, and her own correction on October 26 says it did not happen. Any version of this story still running the first video as fact, without the second, is out of date.

Why Fans Split Anyway

If Amanda herself took it back, why is the group still arguing? Because fans are not arguing about the claim anymore. They are arguing about the pattern. One side says Amanda deserves grace: a woman who spoke from hurt at 6:30 in the morning, then corrected herself on camera the next day, is doing more than most public figures ever do.

The other side says the pattern is the problem. This is not the first time accusations between Amanda and Ryan have played out in public and then been walked back — the May and June 911 calls followed the same arc. For these fans, the question is not whether Ryan cheated. It is whether a couple that keeps turning its worst nights into content, then retracting them, can ever be believed again.

So where do you stand? Do you believe the retraction and give Amanda grace — or does the walk-back make you trust the whole cycle less? Team Believe Her Correction or Team Fool Me Twice?
