Seven years. That is how long Jonah Johnston has been dating his girlfriend Ashley — and he still lives under Trent and Amber’s roof. His little sister Liz, meanwhile, is married with two kids and a front door of her own. Season 18 of 7 Little Johnstons premieres Tuesday, November 17 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on TLC. Here is where all five Johnston kids stand in 2026.
Jonah Johnston: Seven Years, a Steady Job and the Same Old Address
Jonah, the eldest, has done the hard part. Years after the Delta 8 health scare that derailed his early twenties, he rebuilt himself into a working car salesman, earning his Finance Manager Training certification — and, according to a 2024 report, working as a Sales Consultant at Walsh Honda in Macon, Georgia. But the address has not changed: he is still living at home, and he and Ashley have been together for seven years with no progress toward marriage or moving in together, according to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup. Trent and Amber have openly worried about it.
Liz Johnston Bolden: Married, Two Kids and a Front Door of Her Own
Liz is the one Johnston who has already done everything the rest are still debating. She married Brice Bolden on November 8, 2025, at the family home in Forsyth, Georgia, Leighton arrived November 3, 2023, and son Coleman followed on September 8, 2026. “We’re so happy to have Coleman here and to be home together as a family of four,” the couple told TODAY. They moved into a home of their own in May 2024.
Alex Johnston: A Promise Ring, a Farm and a Plan for Next Year

Alex graduated in 2024 alongside Emma, and he has the most concrete plan of any Johnston kid. He has already given girlfriend Allie Smith a promise ring, and according to TV Season & Spoilers, he hopes to get engaged to her next year — and eventually work on her family’s farm. Allie just earned a headline of her own, receiving the American FFA Degree, a top honor in youth agriculture. Standing in the way: Allie’s parents have reportedly ruled out moving in together before marriage, and Jonah has said his little brother should not marry before him.
Emma Johnston: 21, Single and Finally Saying Yes to Dating

Emma has spent eleven seasons as the baby of the family. She finished school in 2024 and runs her jewelry business, Emma’s Rings ‘n Things. She turned 21 on July 1 — and the Season 18 trailer hands her the line fans are already quoting. Asked if she wants a boyfriend, she answers: “Yes.” According to reports, Ashley — Emma’s “bestie” and “other sister” — and Allie are teaming up to play matchmaker for her, seemingly with Joose Jeskanen in mind. TLC has confirmed no couple. But for the first time, she is not saying no to the question.
Anna Johnston: The One Who Walked Away — and Won’t Stay Quiet
Anna is the only Johnston building a life entirely outside the show. She left after Season 16, skipped Season 17 and will not appear in Season 18, saying she stepped away to protect her mental health. Her hardest weeks came this fall: on October 10, she was arrested in Georgia on suspicion of DUI, with officers reporting a blood alcohol level of 0.139, and released the next day on a $1,563 bond. She has given no interview — but she has answered critics in TikTok comments, admitting drinking and driving is “not good” while asking fans to hold judgment: “Make sure you are walking a straight path before you judge anyone, including my parents or anyone.”
