Every The Other Way Season 8 Couple Ranked by Who Fans Think Actually Lasts

Every The Other Way Season 8 Couple Ranked by Who Fans Think Actually Lasts

Five episodes into The Other Way Season 8, the November 1 episode, “Liar, Liar, Relationship on Fire,” sorted the couples. Jon and Ally debated breaking up, Jessy refused Vittorio’s motorcycle ride, Niles revealed a secret Ghana plan, and Andi met Nigel’s lover. Here is the fan ranking on one question only: who actually lasts?

The Long Shots: Andi, Jessy, and Jon

7. Andi & Nigel. Andi moved from Nashville to Brisbane for Nigel, a polyamorous DJ, to find his other relationship already there. The November 1 face-to-face with Nigel’s lover turned the arrangement from theory into a third person at the table. The question is no longer whether Andi can handle polyamory, but whether she signed up for this version of it.

6. Jessy & Vittorio. Jessy’s problem is not one bad fight, it is a pattern. Vittorio humiliated her in front of his friends at his tennis club, criticized her appearance, then tried to repair it with a love letter on a cocktail napkin. Jessy refused the motorcycle ride home and still waits for respect, not another gesture.

5. Jon & Ally. The stakes are serious: Ally is pregnant and Jon has relocated to Singapore, yet the couple still cannot get through an argument. Episode 4 had Jon’s complaining leaving a pregnant Ally frustrated; by episode 5, recaps had the pair debating a breakup. Reports noted they were still together as of October 20, according to Mothership, so this is about fan confidence, not a verdict. The baby argues for them; the communication argues against them.

The Middle: Niles and Michelle, Two Different Trust Tests

4. Niles & Matilda. Married nearly two years, still miles apart, their anniversary trip was the cover story. The real story, revealed in episode 5, is that Niles wants to leave the United States and build a permanent life in Ghana, a plan Matilda had not been told. With episode 4 also raising whether the marriage could face annulment, the logic is clear: the marriage exists, but the shared plan does not yet.

3. Michelle & Felix. Michelle left Dallas for Accra after meeting Felix, a preacher’s son, during an airport layover in Ghana. Her test is quieter: she is pushing Felix to put her before his family, and the November 1 episode had her spying on him from across the globe, according to the episode synopsis. Fans split on whether that is self-protection or proof the trust is gone — and that split is her whole ranking.

The Final Two: Zuri’s Second Chance vs. Kenny’s Track Record

Zuri and Ben. Her second chance in France is the No. 2 bet in this ranking. (Starcasm/TLC)

2. Zuri & Ben. Zuri is the only new couple trying something twice. Her first stint in France collapsed, and according to an ET Online sneak peek, she said Ben’s friends bullied her, pelting her with ice and pranking her with a photo of Ben and another woman. Now she is mending fences with Ben’s sister on camera: Zuri knows exactly what France costs, and she chose it anyway.

1. Kenny & Armando. The benchmark, and it is not close. Married in Mexico on May 22, 2021, they return to a frightening chapter: daughter Hannah’s health scare, her transport to the United States for treatment, and delays with Armando’s visa. According to reports, the couple remain married. The pressure is external — a hospital and a border — not a secret or a humiliation. That is why fans rank them first: their circumstances, not their commitment, are being tested.

So, Who Is Your Last Couple Standing?

Here is the bet. If you had to back one new couple surviving the season, would you pick Zuri at Ben’s dinner table in France, or Michelle against Felix’s family-first loyalty in Ghana? And be honest: is Andi and Nigel’s arrangement already over in everything but the edit? Pick your last couple standing.
