Mountain in Jeans vs. Full Fairytale: Sister Wives Ex-Wives Reveal Their Dream Weddings — and Fans Are Picking Sides

Three women. Three marriages to the same man. Three wildly different answers to one question: if you ever got married again, what would your wedding look like?

In a preview for the next episode of Sister Wives, Meri Brown, Janelle Brown, and Christine Brown Woolley finally say it out loud — and fans are already picking sides. One wants the full fairytale. One wants jeans on a mountaintop. And one can barely picture walking down an aisle ever again.

After years in a plural marriage where, as Christine puts it, “the focus isn’t on you,” this is the first time all three ex-wives have talked about what they would want.

Christine Wants the Wedding She Never Got

Christine is the only one of the three who has already remarried — she wed David Woolley in October 2023 — but in the preview she is shown ring shopping with David.

“I have no idea what’s popular, trendy, modern, all I know is what I like. It’s the diamond shape specifically and then it’s just different colors of metal,” she says. “When you’re a plural wife, the focus isn’t on you, it’s not supposed to be on you, it’s supposed to be on the family.”

Then comes the line fans are quoting everywhere: she never got a big wedding, and now she wants all of it — a bachelorette party, a wedding shower, a bridal shower, and everything that goes along with a traditional wedding, with all of the focus on her.

Janelle Would Marry in Jeans on a Mountain

Janelle’s answer could not be more different — and fans say it is the most Janelle answer imaginable. According to the preview, she would want a simple gold band and a wedding on top of a mountain, in jeans. No ballroom, no fuss, no audience. Just her, the person she loves, and a view.

It fits the woman viewers have watched since leaving Kody: the one who recently told cameras that staying married had started to feel like “a burden.” A mountain wedding in jeans is not a compromise for Janelle. It is the whole point.

Meri Can’t Even Picture It Yet

Then there is Meri, and her answer stops the conversation cold. She says she likes a square-cut diamond — but beyond that, she has never thought much further. She really cannot grasp the idea of being married again anytime soon, according to the preview.

Fans are split: some call it healthy patience from a woman who has said she rushed into her marriage to Kody; others point out that Meri recently revealed she gets proposed to “on a weekly basis” in her DMs, yet still will not rush — not even with Ron, the man she has been quietly seeing since a speed-dating event.

Why This Conversation Hits Different Now

For 16 years, these three women shared one husband and one set of rules — a system where the spotlight was supposed to stay on the family, never on one wife. Now Kody and Robyn have left the show, and the three ex-wives are the ones carrying Season 21.

That is why fans are treating this debate as a progress report. Christine is claiming the celebration she never had. Janelle is choosing simplicity on her own terms. Meri is admitting she is not ready — and refusing to fake it.

So, whose dream wedding would you pick? Team Fairytale with Christine, Team Mountain Jeans with Janelle, or Team Not Yet with Meri? Sound off below — and tell us which wedding you would actually show up to.
