Sunday night handed the fandom a new episode and a new argument. The November 1 episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, “Liar, Liar, Relationship on Fire,” put five couples through the wringer in one night, and by Monday morning fans had picked sides. Some couples gained defenders. Others lost the room completely.

Jon and Ally: The Breakup Debate Nobody Wanted to Hear

According to TLC’s synopsis, Jon and Ally debated breaking up — a bombshell given what is riding on this relationship. Jon moved from Connecticut to Singapore for Ally, whose United States visa application was denied, and she was six months pregnant when filming began.

Fan forums were blunt. Some called the pair immature and argued that without the baby, the relationship would already be over. Others pushed back: Jon uprooted his entire life for Ally. According to reports, the couple were still together as of October 20, but the goodwill from the move is wearing thin.

Jessy and Vittorio: Fans Say the Yelling Was the Last Straw

If Jon and Ally split the room, Jessy and Vittorio united it — against Vittorio. Their Florence fight continued from the October 25 episode, when Vittorio humiliated Jessy in front of his friends, and viewers have not forgiven him. Forum reactions called his yelling out of line and a red flag.

According to reports, the Tuscan apartment at the center of their storyline is a rental property, deepening doubts about Vittorio’s glamorous life. Jessy moved from the Bronx believing he could break her pattern of bad relationships. After this episode, more fans think the pattern is repeating.

Niles and Matilda: The Fandom Split Down the Middle

No couple divided viewers quite like Niles and Matilda. In the November 1 episode, according to TLC’s synopsis, Niles came clean to Mr. Arc, the village elder overseeing the couple’s traditional marriage negotiations. Matilda believed he was visiting Ghana for their anniversary, not planning a permanent move, and episode 4 put the word “annulment” on the table.

Half the fandom is furious on Matilda’s behalf — two years married, still living apart over visa issues, and once again the wife is the last to know. The other half warns Niles to be wary of the family politics around him.

Zuri and Ben: The Quiet Couple Fans Suddenly Love

Every season needs a palate cleanser, and this week it was Zuri and Ben. Their storyline — Zuri trying to mend fences with Ben’s sister — was the lowest-drama beat of the night, and fans rewarded them for it.

Not everyone is fully sold: forum viewers grumbled about Zuri’s French and about Ben’s sister discussing her within earshot. But compared with the rest of the cast, the complaints feel minor. Quiet looks pretty good next to chaos.

Michelle and Felix: Spying, Secrets and a Fandom That Says ‘Run’

Then there is Michelle and Felix, the couple that turned the fandom into a rescue squad. Michelle only debuted in episode 4, when TLC’s tease said she was pushing Felix to put her before his family. In the November 1 episode, according to TLC’s synopsis, Michelle spied on Felix from across the globe.

Forum reactions were direct: block him, stop watching him, do not pack up for Ghana. Fans say the spying proves Michelle does not trust him either. She left Dallas behind to move to Ghana for Felix — and the fandom calls it the leap most likely to end in regret.

So here is the state of play: Jessy has the fandom’s sympathy, Zuri and Ben have its affection, Niles and Matilda have split it in half, and Michelle’s supporters are nearly extinct. Part 2 arrives Sunday, November 8, according to listings. Until then, pick your side: which Other Way couple are you backing — and which one has already lost you for good?
