“From begging an useless guy to this.” That was the whole caption. On October 22, Jasmine Pineda posted texts from her boyfriend, Matt Branistareanu, to her Instagram Story and let eight words do the damage. She never typed Gino Palazzolo’s name. She did not have to. Three days earlier she had called her ex broke. As of November 2, Gino had not replied anywhere. But the dig was not the breakup. That had already happened. Here are the five signs.

Sign No. 5: The Money Was Already Moving in One Direction
On October 19, Jasmine shared her spending for the month: $17,264.73 by October 18, including about $2,000 in divorce-related payments. She wrote it was “because my ex is broke and being a gold digger was a story line made up by him.” Three days later came the “useless guy” caption. One argument in two parts: first the wallet, then the worth. Yet under the June divorce terms, Jasmine pays Gino $500 a month for 40 months — $20,000 in all. The woman calling her ex broke writes him that check every month until the fall of 2029.

Sign No. 4: Two Houses, Two States, No Middle Ground
Gino kept the home in Canton, Michigan, and a 2015 Ford Explorer. Jasmine kept the house in Dunedin, Florida. That is not a couple taking space to cool off. That is two lives filed under two addresses, more than 1,000 miles apart, and a marriage already sorted into “his” and “hers.”
Sign No. 3: A New Family Was Already on Camera
In February 2025, Jasmine announced she was expecting a baby with Matt. Matilda arrived in March 2025. Then, on October 6, a TLC crew filmed Jasmine, Matt and Matilda at Tampa International Airport, reportedly before a flight to Panama, where her sons JC and Juance live. An October 7 pregnancy-test post set off fresh baby talk, though the test is not confirmed new. The casting is settled: the family in front of the camera no longer includes Gino.
Sign No. 2: Gino Had Already Started Over — Quietly
While Jasmine posted, Gino went the other way. He dated again on 90 Day: The Single Life, which premiered February 9, 2026, and finished the season with a girlfriend named Lexi, their status now unconfirmed. In early September he posted photos from the Arts, Beats & Eats festival in Royal Oak, Michigan: “Good times at the Arts, Beats & Eats festival today!” And when the “useless guy” caption landed, he said nothing at all. Silence, sometimes, is a man who has already moved on.

Sign No. 1: The Surname Outlived the Marriage
The strangest sign is also the smallest. On August 31, TV Shows Ace reported that Jasmine’s new baking TikTok runs under the name “Yazmin Palazzolo.” She said she kept his surname to skip paperwork “because I’m trying to bring my children.” So the name still labels her videos while the marriage ended June 26, 2026. Gino filed in Michigan in July 2025, Jasmine in Florida the next month; their separation was dated April 22, 2024. On paper it ran from a secret June 2023 wedding to that day in court. The surname is still working for her. The marriage is not.

It is not a breakup announcement — the court already made that, on June 26. It is a before-and-after: the “begging” years, when intimacy was a problem in the marriage, against Matt’s texts, posted as proof it no longer is. It stings because the paperwork underneath is still active: $500 a month until the fall of 2029.
So which version do you believe — the divorce papers, or the Instagram caption? If Jasmine still pays Gino $500 a month while calling him a “useless guy,” is she closing the book — or still writing in it? Tell us below.
