Before Shauna Rae ever designed a single outfit, she lived the problem every day. At 3-foot-10, after childhood brain cancer treatment left her with pituitary dwarfism, the 27-year-old star of I Am Shauna Rae spent years shopping in the children’s section for clothes she needed as an adult woman. Then she stopped waiting for the fashion industry to notice her — and built her own line instead. It is called Fitclusion, and three years after the cameras went quiet, fans are still asking the same question: what happened to it?

The Kids’ Section Was Never Going to Cut It

Long before Fitclusion had a name, Shauna Rae had the pitch. Around the show’s 2022 debut, she said she wanted to develop a fashion line for “my community of little people,” explaining it plainly: “It’s hard to find woman or adult-looking like clothing when you’re shopping in the children section. Even shoe shopping is difficult.”

In a PEOPLE-exclusive clip tied to the show, she sharpened the vision: a line “adjustable for all types of human beings” that could “fit little people and anyone else on the beauty spectrum.” She even said she was considering applying to the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York for a fashion degree.

The Sparkly Outfit That Started It All

The moment fans still point to came in March 2023, when Shauna Rae modeled an outfit of her own design on Instagram. SurvivorNet reported the look: a sparkly ensemble of flared pants and a crop top, posed with total confidence — and then, in the detail nobody forgot, she rolled by on a pair of pink roller skates. Her caption told the story: “I wanted to show y’all my outfit without the flair and then with heels (and skates),” adding, “I am currently working on sizing for 5’4″ and below and the feminine body, if you are interested.”

It was not a brand deal. It was a woman solving her own problem in public.

Fitclusion Opens for Business

The idea became a real brand. According to reports, Shauna Rae launched Fitclusion as her own label for inclusive clothing and self-expression, and on December 14, 2023, she announced via TikTok that the Fitclusion website was up and running and open for business. For fans of I Am Shauna Rae — two seasons, 2022–2023, final episode October 1, 2023, with no Season 3 announced since — it felt like the rare storyline that continued after the cameras left.

Self-Funded — and Still Waiting for Backing

Here is the honest part. According to reports, Shauna Rae self-funded Fitclusion herself, and the label now needs external investors to expand. There has been no splashy new collection announcement since, and this article will not pretend otherwise. Building a fashion brand solo — while running a TikTok audience past a million followers under @shaunarae99 — is a mountain, not a moment.

What Fans Want From the Next Drop

So the fandom has split in two. Team “Drop It Now” says the sparkly flares proved the concept — put the collection out and let the community that has waited since 2023 buy in. Team “Get It Right” says a rushed line helps nobody: sizing for 5-foot-4 and below, done properly, is worth the wait. Nobody else was going to make these clothes for her — she made them herself, and rolled away on pink skates to prove it.

So, your turn: if Fitclusion’s next drop had just one piece, what should it be — the sparkly flares, the crop top, or something brand new? And be honest: would you buy it, or just cheer from the sidelines?
