“It feels so good to be wives.” That was Chantel Everett’s verdict, in a video shared on Instagram, two weeks after she married Ashley Bowen. Not “it feels good to be married.” Wives. Plural, proud, and said out loud for everyone who followed her from her first stormy marriage to this one. On October 17, 2026, at Fountainview Mansion in Auburn, Alabama, in front of roughly 60 friends and family, Chantel Everett became a married woman again, and the whole fandom exhaled with her.
But weddings end. Marriages begin. And that is the question fans are really asking now: Chantel and Ashley are in their married era, so what comes next?
The First Two Weeks as Wives

The newlyweds did not waste a moment. According to People, as reported by TV Insider, the couple departed their reception by helicopter for a night at the St. Regis in Atlanta. The next day, Ashley whisked Chantel off to Le Blanc Spa Resort in Cancun, Mexico, for a surprise honeymoon she had planned in secret. Chantel told People there was something deeply meaningful about celebrating their love openly and proudly as two women, calling the marriage “the everyday commitment to growing together, creating a home, and being each other’s family.”
That line matters, because it is the clearest mission statement Chantel has ever given for a relationship. Her first marriage played out as a family war on camera for years. This one, by her own telling, is built on something quieter: safety. Back when the couple confirmed they were dating at the Hunt for Love Tell All in September 2025, Chantel said what they had built was very healthy, and that it felt good to be with somebody she felt safe with.
Meanwhile, the show that brought them together has not stopped. Season 2 of 90 Day: Hunt for Love is underway on TLC, airing Mondays at 8/7c.
The Questions Fans Are Asking Next
Start with the biggest one: will there be a show? Nobody has confirmed it. TLC has not announced a new season of The Family Chantel, but the cast was reportedly spotted filming in downtown Atlanta before the wedding. Filming a moment is not the same as filming a season.
YOU MAY LIKEKaren and Thomas Everett: The Marriage That Survived Every Chantel Storm — and the One Wedding Question LeftThen there is the family question, and it is a delicate one. At the Hunt for Love Tell All, Karen Everett clashed with Ashley onstage and called her a “clout chaser,” then later promised she would come to her daughter’s wedding. Whether that promise held in Auburn is one of the questions fans are still asking, and the family has not publicly settled it.
And do not forget the rest of the Everetts. Winter Everett, the sister whose quiet transformation has become the family’s biggest change after a weight loss of more than 138 pounds, married her husband David Hodgson and announced in December 2025 that the couple were expecting their first child, calling it their “2026 miracle.” River Everett, the brother whose circle introduced Chantel to Ashley at one of his birthday parties, remains the family’s wild card after claiming on a social-media live that The Family Chantel was coming back, a claim Chantel quickly laughed off as a bluff.
Why This Marriage Feels Different

Here is what makes the married era feel genuinely new rather than just newlywed. Chantel’s first marriage was a story about two families at war. This one started as a friendship: Ashley was friends with River long before romance entered the picture, and the two women grew close after meeting at his birthday party. Before Chantel left to film Hunt for Love, Ashley kissed her during a night out at a bar. Chantel pulled away at first, unsure what she felt. By the time filming ended, she knew she wanted to explore that relationship more than any of the sparks she saw in Tulum.
So now the question belongs to you. What do you want the married era to be? A quiet life in Atlanta, far from the cameras, with Winter’s baby and family Sundays? Or one more season, one more spinoff, one more chance to watch this family figure itself out on television? Team Quiet Life or Team Bring Back the Show, which one are you rooting for?
