Eleven years ago, they arrived in under four minutes, each weighing barely more than a bag of sugar. Today, Ava, Olivia, Hazel, Riley and Parker Busby are 11 years old — five tweens in sixth grade, holding handmade “First Day” and “Homeschool” signs on their parents’ porch, with two dogs photobombing the milestone like they own the place. If you have watched OutDaughtered since 2016, that photo alone is enough to make you feel old.

There is no scandal here and no breaking news thread — and honestly, that is the point. The group this week has been full of sweet quint photos and huge reactions, but no single news story. So this is a proper status check: where are the Busby quints now, at 11?

From Four Minutes to Eleven Years

Born on April 8, 2015, the Busby quints were the first all-female quintuplets born in the United States. They spent their first weeks in the NICU before coming home, and viewers have watched them grow up on OutDaughtered since the show premiered in 2016. The show last aired in 2024, but Adam and Danielle Busby kept telling their story on their More Than Reality podcast and on social media.

Danielle marked the girls’ 11th birthday in April 2026 with an emotional post revisiting that dramatic birth: the snap decision in the hospital, the hallway full of doctors and nurses waiting for a high-risk delivery, and five tiny girls born in less than four minutes. TV Season & Spoilers covered the post — the same little babies, now 11, strong, confident and thriving. Fans flooded the comments calling them miracle babies.

Sixth Grade Looks Different Now

The biggest change in the quints’ lives this year is school. In early 2026, Adam and Danielle announced that the quints would start sixth grade in a homeschool co-op: learning at home at their own pace, plus some subjects in a classroom setting. On August 25, the parents posted the first-day photo — all five quints, now 11, posing with their signs.

Danielle wrote, “Bare feet, comfy clothes, and a late morning start to school… I think we will be enjoying our new adventure!!” On their podcast, the couple explained the reasoning plainly: after years in public school, prayer, research and a lot of honest conversations, they decided to try something new for sixth grade — citing academic struggles, dyslexia support, protecting innocence in middle school, flexibility, and keeping them together. All five quints wanted to stay together, and their parents said they were not “mature enough” yet for middle school.

One month in, Danielle shared an update on Instagram that was refreshingly honest. “Every day looks a little different, but I feel like the quints and I have adjusted to what our new ‘school days’ — and really, our days in general — look like,” she wrote. She admitted there are still days when she struggles with wanting to do it, but said she feels a strong conviction that this is what she is supposed to be doing right now. TVShowsAce reported both the backlash and the support that followed, including critics questioning her lack of teaching experience and fans defending a mother’s right to choose.

Five Girls, Five People

Here is the part longtime fans love most: at 11, the quints could not be less alike. Ava and Olivia are the identical twins of the five, yet their parents have always described them as night and day. Riley is the outspoken one, who says what everyone else is thinking. Hazel, who wears glasses, is sweet and curious. Parker, the youngest, is the shyest and most reserved.

The Question That Never Goes Away

Of course, every status check ends in the same place: will OutDaughtered come back? As of now, TLC has announced neither a renewal nor a cancellation, and Adam and Danielle themselves answered the question in a podcast Q&A with a single word: “Maybe. Currently not filming or on the schedule to film.” They have also said they will more than likely not put the girls on the podcast until they are older, because the quints stay busy enough with school and sports.

So tell us: which quint were you sure about at age five, and which one has surprised you most at 11? Ava, Olivia, Hazel, Riley or Parker — who has changed the most?
