Fourteen kids. Four sets of multiples. One very crowded house in Las Vegas. Every Doubling Down With the Derricos fan has a favorite set — and every fan is convinced their set is the one that actually carries the show. So let us settle it the only way a fandom can: a straight-up vote.

This is not a scientific poll. It is a fan debate, built on what we have all watched for five seasons on TLC. Here are the three contenders, their best cases, and their weak spots. Read them all, then pick a side: 1, 2, or 3.

Contender 1: The Quintuplets — Five Kids, One Unstoppable Unit

Deniko, Dariz, Deonee, Daician, and Daiten were born in September 2013, and they are the reason most of America knows this family at all. The quints turned the Derricos from a big family into a phenomenon — five babies arriving at once made headlines before TLC ever came calling.

Now 13 years old, the quints are the engine room of the show. They arrive as a pack, they argue as a pack, and they deliver the show’s best group chaos: matching outfits, homework-table pileups, and five different opinions shouted at the same time. No other set can fill a scene just by walking into it.

The case against them? They are almost too powerful. When five kids share every storyline, it is easy for individual personalities to blur into “the quints” as one character. Fans who love a single standout sometimes look elsewhere.

Contender 2: The Triplets — The Babies Who Stole Season 1

Dawsyn, De’Aren, and Dyver were born in July 2019, and they were the show’s original cliffhanger — the pregnancy that launched Season 1. Now 7 years old and firmly school-age, the triplets have grown up entirely on camera, from premature babies in the NICU storyline to little kids with big opinions.

The triplets’ superpower is the cute-to-chaos ratio. They are young enough for the adorable moments fans screenshot, but old enough now to talk back, scheme together, and steal scenes from their older siblings. Every family has a “baby of the family” bias, and the triplets own it three times over.

The knock on them is simple: screen time. As the youngest, they have spent more seasons in the background while the older kids drove the plots. Their fans say that is exactly why the comeback should give them more.

Contender 3: The Twins — Two Sets, Double the Trouble

A throwback to the early days: Deon, Karen, Darian and the toddler twins Dallas and Denver — before the quints arrived.

Here is the twins’ secret weapon: there are two of them. Dallas and Denver, born in 2011 and now 15, were the family’s first set of multiples — the pair who proved the Derricos did not do anything by halves. Diez and Dior, born in 2017 and now 9, are the second set, lovingly called the “triplins” in honor of their late brother Carter, who died shortly after birth.

Twin fans get the best of both worlds: Dallas and Denver bring teenage humor, the classic double act, and the teasing fans still quote; Diez and Dior bring pure energy and the mischief that only younger twins can deliver. Two sets means twice the twin moments — and twin moments are the show’s most shareable clips.

The weakness? Split loyalty. Twin fans argue among themselves about which pair is better, and a divided vote is a losing vote.

The One Group Nobody Votes For (and Why That Matters)

A quick word for the two Derricos who are not multiples at all: Darian, born in 2005 and now in her early 20s, and Derrick, born in 2010 and now 16. They are the control group — proof that this family was already special before the multiples arrived. Darian was the show’s first star, and Derrick is its calm big brother. They are not on the ballot today, but any honest ranking admits the show does not work without them.

Cast Your Vote: 1, 2, or 3?

So here it is, fandom. Vote 1 for the quintuplets — five kids, one unstoppable unit. Vote 2 for the triplets — the babies who grew up on camera and now steal every scene. Vote 3 for the twins — two sets, double the trouble.

And the tiebreaker question: if the Derricos’ comeback films in 2027, as Deon has told fans, according to reports, which set should get the first big storyline? Drop your number in the comments — and defend it. No fence-sitting allowed.
